APADAC works to help animals abandoned in the town, end their suffering and keep them away from certain death.
Its work goes beyond rescue: it also educates people, including children, to prevent abandonment and encourage respect for animals.
The association promotes responsible sterilisation or neutering of dogs and cats to prevent animal overpopulation.
APADAC promotes responsible adoption as the first alternative to end the suffering of the most vulnerable animals.
Whenever possible, it organises awareness campaigns, fairs and talks in schools.
It is a non-profit association formed and managed by volunteers. Every kind of help matters.
